Yotsuba is one of the popular comic by Kiyohiko Azuma. Thic comic also has a lot of volume. The first volume of Yotsuba is released in 2003. Until now there are fourteen volume that has been released.
The comic is tell the readers about the five years old girl named Yotsuba Koiwai who is really pure, energetic, cheerful, strange, and curious about everything. So innocent with something new, she always asks and tries new things for her. Yotsuba lived with her adoptive father who loved and take care of her very much. They just moved to a simple house in Japan. And she has a neighborhood that lived near of her house. It is Ayase’s family that have three daughters Asagi, Fuka, and Ena, who are being a good friends with Yotsuba. Asagi a beautiful girl, Fuka a spry child, and Ena a smart child. Not just being friends with the children that have the same age with Yotsuba, she also has a friends with an old age people that have same age as her father, that is the father’s best friend Takashi Takeda or Jumbo. This comic also tell us about the fun story of the daily life of Yotsuba and her beloved persons.
Most of the daily life in the story is tell about the adventures of Yotsuba and her interaction with the other characters. And every series has no consistent plot. That is mean that the plot of the story is always different in every series but the focus of the story is still Yotsuba’s daily voyage.
