The lyrics of the song tell a story of a star-crossed lovers who can’t seem connected to each other because of their suppressed feelings. Each of them has a very different love, finding the best way to make their love work.
However, it can also be interpreted as a story of two lovers whose feelings remain the same and stronger, in spite of the distance and time which separate their life.
The music video is featuring the singers themselves. They meet at one occasion, but somehow, it feels like they’ve seen each other before. The meeting eventually develops deeper feelings of love, as if they experience dèjá vu.
