The Greatest Showman is an American musical-biography movie directed by Michael Gracey. The movie is inspired by the life of circus impresario PT Barnum that existed in the 1800s, who is played by a famous actor Hugh Jackman. As it is a musical movie, the roles play the show with the fantastic music and sing great songs that are shown nicely as well as dance choreography. The songs composed by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul came into light lime around the world, such as Never Enough and This is Me. Surprisingly, all the Showmen have unique appearance—where previously they were not accepted by society. Then, after Barnum cajoled being a part of the show, they can be accepted by the upper-crust society as well as to the cheap seats.
The favorite scene is when Barnum was a child who helped his father work as a poor-tailor and at the same time he met with a beautiful girl, Michelle Williams. There is a romantic vibe when Barnum and Michelle sang along together entitled Million Dream. Within the song, they have grown-up, married then have two beautiful children. In this part, you will see a fairytale about the love relationship between the rich and the poor, who fell in love without any doubt.
This movie is very recommended to watch with your family, friend, or beloved ones because it shows the spectacular as the title, The Greatest Showman. Besides, it is to entertain, there are also the lessons you can take from the movie that teaches how to love yourself, accepting your existence and appreciate everything no matter how it looks. So, if there is a statement “My existence is worthless.” well, this movie is appropriate to watch and bring back the confidence. Here, the score of the movie is 4.6.
